Join us for a hands-on workshop where you'll learn the ancient craft of working with living willow to create a beautiful arch structure for the garden.
Working alongside experienced Willow Artist Ruth from Sylvan Skills, we’ll discover how willow rods are selected, prepared, and woven into a strong and elegant arch — a technique that has been used for centuries in gardens, orchards, and green spaces across the country.
No experience is needed.
By the end of the session, you'll have contributed to a lasting feature in the community garden and come away with practical skills you can use in your own outdoor space.
